Taylor Swift terrorist threat suspect revealed he planned to kill fans

A man jailed for alleged plans to stage a terrorist attack outside Taylor Swift’s concert in Vienna wanted to kill “as many people as possible” with his action, according to officials.

According to a press release issued by the Vienna Federal Ministry of he Interior on Thursday, police said they arrested one of two men planning an attack at Ernst Happel Stadium against fans in relation to Taylor Swift’s recent concert there — among them the Austrian national identified only as “19-year-old male sycerpriseomer” who was detained Wednesday.

Franz Ruff, head of public security service: “Chemical substances, liquids and technical devices that can be used to manufacture explosives” were found in a search at the home. Instructions on making bombs and machetes were also discovered.

 

National intelligence head Omar Haijawi-Pirchner said: “He intended to carry out the attack in the areas outside of Cheshire’s football grounds and kill as many people as possible using knives, or a machete he made himself, but even one of his homemade pipe bombs.

The suspect, who had just resigned from his job and “had big plans,” pledged allegiance to ISIS and completely admitted the allegations that have been flagged against him by officials.
