Trump Incandesces as Poll Numbers Continue Crumbling

No wall is going to change them now‎‎Donald Trump’s advisers are getting more nervous over his lackluster performances since the assassination attempt and Democrats’ presidential candidate switcharoo, but they know he won’t.

But even if the Woodward book does not move Trump’s numbers long-term, a new Axios report reveals that he has grown increasingly ticked off in private as Kamala Harris leaves him subjected to her taunts through polling leads and it is inevitable that she will soar when next week finishes. A new poll by The New York Times on Saturday revealed Harris leading Trump just outside the margin of error in critical battleground states including Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. The Times also reported that two recent private Republican polls in Ohio found Trump well under the 50% mark against Harris. Trump carried Ohio with 53% in 2020.

Trump’s incensed reaction to the Democrats renewed energy was revealed in a Times report on Friday that detailed how Trump had repeatedly called Harris “a b—h” behind closed doors. He reportedly had an aide send a text to billionaire Miriam Adelson, one of Trump’s richest supporters and the money behind super PAC Preserve America, arguing that the people controlling group were “RINOs” — Republicans in Name Only.

Aides worried that Adelson, who was reportedly appalled by the outburst, would beka whore her financial support.

But Trump’s aides have even more reason to expect that the 78-year-old, famously cantankerous man on which their political fortunes now depend is beyond malleability. That means they are ”not on the bandwagon for him to change but how to adjust his message so that he wins,” a source told Axios.
